My Soul Mate

Four words sum it up - give it to God. Ask Him for your soul mate.. Then trust Him to provide. Put it in His hands. Then wait (and pray a lot with a trusting heart). Be patient. God's ways and plans are perfect and if you are patient and trust Him, you will be rewarded with the person who is exactly right for you.

Because God is the creator of hearts, the reader of hearts, the joiner of hearts, he is very aware and very alert to the hearts that want to follow him and he rewards those that put their trust in him for their soul mate. That is one of the major life changing events in life - why wouldn't He want to be involved!

My Story

I am speaking from experience. I was a single mom. My son needed a father. I longed for a mate - a meeting-of-minds-and-hearts-mate. I waited. I prayed. Years went by. I began to wonder. My son needed a father a lot more than I needed a mate, that's how I saw it. Why was it taking God so long? What was his plan for us? I believed God would come through, I just didn't understand since I couldn't see anything happening from a physical standpoint. It was a lesson of learning to walk by faith, not by sight.

After years of looking to and trusting in our Father, my faith was rewarded. I met the man, my other half, my one true heart! He came into my life when the time was right for both of us. God's way makes perfect sense. He proved to be a good father for my son. He had been married before and had other children, but that didn't stop him from adopting my son. He raised and loved him like his own. And we were blessed with two sons of our own. Together we've loved, learned, grown older and watched as our children have all now grown into adulthood.

We've celebrated our twenty-fifth anniversary and are still in love and thankful for each other, our blessings and family. Our lives have had many ups and downs, but has managed to blossom in our love and appreciation for each other and our Father who joined our hearts as one.

So don't ever give up on God. Look to Him and believe His word. The rewards and blessings are great.

The Great Creator of Hearts definitely can see and does see your heart and the heart of the one meant for you. Give it to him and allow him to join two hearts together!
