It all began with the man, Berry Gordy, he had the vision, a magic vision! He began Motown on borrowed money. He also had the magic touch, it seemed every artist he touched turned records into gold! He had an eye for talent and an ear for good music and the soul to bring in artists and give them opportunity. He believed this label and music - soul, rhythm and blues, jazz, would grow. After 50 years, it has spread around the world on all seven continents. An amazing vision, an amazing dream and venture, and an amazing history!
